Condemning the Biden administration’s failure to distribute the vaccine, for preventing the spread of monkeypox in sufficient quantities, Democrat officials on both the east and west coasts are making their angst known. In San Francisco, California there is a fear of widespread increases in the number of cases, and in New York City officials report a spike in actual infections.
Released in a statement on Wednesday, California State Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco), warned that local health officials are reporting that they would run out of monkeypox vaccine later in the week. Senator Wiener said in a written statement:
“Today, the San Francisco Department of Public Health announced that the Department is about to run out of monkeypox vaccine,”… “Its San Francisco General Hospital monkeypox vaccine clinic will be temporarily suspended after today (Wednesday).”

Weiner further explained that the exhaustion of the vaccine supply, is as a result of increases in monkeypox infections and exposures in San Francisco and other communities. He added-
“We need to be very clear where the responsibility lies for this completely avoidable situation: the federal government,” Wiener stated. “Failure to control this outbreak will result in intense and completely unnecessary misery for many people, particularly gay and bisexual men.”

According to Breitbart, with more active cases currently, New York City officials report the monkeypox virus is spreading at a rapid pace, with cases in New York City accounting for a full 30 percent of all cases, in the United States. During the first two weeks of July, there were 170 reported cases.
According to a demographics chart produced by NYC Health, Men account for 321 of the 336 reported cases as of July 13, with no women contracting the virus, during the reporting period. Health officials attributed the remainder to TGNCNB (Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming Non-Binary) ( a total of 7 cases), and unknown (a total of 8 cases).
Urging the Biden administration to ramp up access to the monkeypox vaccines, former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) tweeted-
“We cannot wait any longer to take action against the spread of monkeypox,” adding “Invoke the Defense Production Act to fill the need for vaccines in the U.S. There really is no time to waste in a crisis like this, and there is so much that federal and city officials can do right now to get control of this crisis.”

Manhattan Borough President Mark D. Levine, claiming the city is receiving only 10 percent of the vaccine doses being distributed, while experiencing 30 percent of the cases nationwide, tweeted-
“It was another day of meltdown in NYC‘s monkeypox vaccination [sic] effort, caused by severe lack of supply and failed scheduling technology,”

Yes, let’s look to big government, to fix what some Americans chose to expose themselves to, by way of lifestyle choices. And of course, those same individuals expect the use of our tax dollars to subsidize their aberrant habits, not to mention hide the results of their behaviorisms. That these progressive, far-left “persons” (whatever gender or non-gender they claim), have habitually expected the masses to change, accommodate and pay for the few, is ridiculous. Forced charity never endears anyone.
When will the few, stop expecting the many, to subsidize their choices? These are the same “persons” who reek violence on the many, if they do not receive what they feel they are entitled to. Like petulant children, who have no moral compass, perhaps they should be allowed to reap what they sow, without government assistance.
