Following billionaire Elon Musk’s acquisition of the platform, Whoopi Goldberg has deleted her Twitter account saying –
“It has been a little over a week since Elon Musk took over Twitter, and the place is a mess.” And “He’s putting his $8 charge for blue check verification on hold. First it was going to be $20, now it’s going to be $8. So. He also suspended Kathy Griffin for impersonating him on a parody account.”

However, Goldberg, failed to note, that under previous Twitter leadership, the rule for impersonating someone on Twitter have not changed, as accounts have previously been suspended for impersonation. Additionally, Griffin used her own account, equipped with a blue check verification, to impersonate Musk as a stunt for Democrats.
She did not impersonate Musk from a parody account. That she used Musk, to see votes changed, is not funny at all. This is another point of desperation on the part of these “grasp at the wind” Democrats. They are pathetic.
Using Musk’s exact profile picture, to make it look like it was his account, and changing her profile name, Griffin then began tweeting for everyone to “Vote Blue” in the upcoming midterm elections. Following Griffin’s suspension, Musk explained in a tweet-
“Going forward, any Twitter handles engaging in impersonation without clearly specifying ‘parody’ will be permanently suspended,”

Goldberg is not the only left-wing celebrity leaving Twitter, over Musk’s takeover of the company. Further, she is not the only one having a public meltdown. Model Gigi Hadid, on Saturday, announced her exit from Twitter, saying, it has become a “cesspool of hate & bigotry.” Other drama kings and queens who are now pledged to
to leave Twitter, in the wake of Musk’s acquisition of the platform are : Tea Leoni, Shonda Rhimes, Debra Messing, Mark Ruffalo, and Alex Winter.
Like moths to a flame, these self-proclaimed important people, are acting like the rest of Twitter, or Musk himself care that they are leaving, or basically threatening to leave Twitter. They need to know that most Americans could care less if they leave or not. Moreover, with only 8$ on the table, for their little blue check mark – it’s not like they are contributing vast sums to join the “important” crowd.
Sadly, the social platform, Twitter itself, has become a sort of home for drama, that these people feed on, promoting what they think is important. They act like - consider what I have to say as more important, promoting their thoughts as some sort of gospel.
Yes, Twitter has become an outlet for their self-aggrandizing egos, and when they don’t get what they want out of it - control of others opinions – they have no idea how to be real, act with thoughtfulness towards their fellow man, nor accept the rules that often go with being a participant. What a bunch of crybabies.
That these persons need to threaten or actually leave, is of little consequence. They don’t really mean what they say, after all, they get paid to either be someone else in films, spend half of their life getting make-up applied so they can appeal to the masses, and / or just flat out are never themselves, period. They can’t leave fast enough with their left-wing liberal thoughts, that don’t relate to America’s reality.
Three cheers for the rest of Twitter, who for a time can carry on conversations and share the reality of life, without the pressure of the toxic energy provided by these individuals, especially since they are now the ones leaving. The media site is better off without their drama.
