In an effort to purge the unaccountable administrative state, that creates and directs vast amounts of far-left policy in the federal government, it is believed that former President Donald Trump’s potential return to the Oval Office will include this vast turn over of federal employees.
According to a report by Axios, If reelected in 2024, Trump is planning to cut about 50,000 administrative state employees, to rein in unelected technocrats in federal government agencies, that have great influence over policies impacting American workers. The report claims.
“The impact could go well beyond typical conservative targets such as the Environmental Protection Agency and the Internal Revenue Service,” …“Trump allies are working on plans that would potentially strip layers at the Justice Department — including the FBI, and reaching into national security, intelligence, the State Department and the Pentagon, sources close to the former president say.”

The phenomenon of unaccountable and unelected administrative agencies, exercising power to create and enforce their own rules, defines the term administrative state. This is the group of employees that will be targeted for release.
Nearly 2 million federal government employees, in federal agencies make up the administrative state, which uses its rule-making ability to essentially sidestep, the separation of powers between the three branches of government. This administrative state, referred to by Trump as the “swamp”, creates a so-called fourth branch of government not created by the Constitution.
To really get a grasp of the magnitude of what this “state” believes go to - The Center For Progressive Reform and look around, these are the people who make up the so called “Fourth Branch” of our government, that Trump needs to clean out. They are a progressive cancer that has existed for decades and essentially function with little to no accountability. Here is a small sample of how they operate and what they think-
“Over the last four decades, small government ideologues have waged a coordinated attack against government. The strategy has paid off: Public approval ratings of all three branches of government are at all-time lows.”
And “Nevertheless, the federal government still manages to get things done on a day-to-day basis, and that is primarily due to the so-called 4th branch of government — the administrative and regulatory state that employs 2 million workers, invests trillions of dollars each year on things like air pollution monitoring and cutting-edge clean energy research, and makes rules that protect us all.”

In 2021 before leaving office ,Trump signed an executive order (EO) to reclassify federal government employees into Schedule F, which would have allowed the president to enhance accountability and job performance within the bureaucratic agencies. According to the same report-
“Unfortunately, the Government’s current performance management is inadequate, as recognized by Federal workers themselves,” the EO reads. “For instance, the 2016 Merit Principles Survey reveals that less than a quarter of Federal employees believe their agency addresses poor performers effectively.”

When he assumed office, President Joe Biden canceled the order. In 2024, If Trump runs and wins, he is reportedly intending to reimplement the EO, effectively purging the unelected technocrats who are artificially running the federal government. The report claims that the impact -
“It would effectively upend the modern civil service, triggering a shock wave across the bureaucracy,”

This fourth branch of unconstitutional government purging, is very much a necessity, if the establishment is to be changed, moving forward. Not doing so in such a clear and deep manner is what cost Trump time and response to his policy changes. If he runs and wins, this will likely be one of his first priorities.
Trump lost so much time with leaks, disruptions to his plans for positive change and spent so much time running down those who were entrenched in the “state”, that continued to promote his administrations demise. Controlled heavily by the socialists of the left, these persons need to go – literally all of them. Better to clean house effectively, than to leave any corner to collect more dirt/dust.
Former President, Donald Trump, is not one to make a mistake twice. Washington, needs a thorough cleaning, and while some may be appalled by this effort, America needs to be reminded that – real change means abolishing the status quo.
