Whether you are Pro-Life or Pro-Choice, California taxpayers essentially have No-Voice. Governor Gavin Newsom (D) announced plans Wednesday for California taxpayers to fund abortions for uninsured, out-of-state residents who travel there to seek abortions because of restrictive abortion in their own states. This is to the tune of an additional $57 million dollars. This brings the proposed spending on out-of-state abortion seekers to $125 million, well beyond what he proposed in January.
It’s not bad enough in California already, with businesses and private citizens leaving in droves because of the tax, spend and regulate polices of Newsom’s administration. Soon, who will be left to pay for everything?

Newsome always has been good at putting his hand out in any direction to get his agenda done. That is the truth.
This whole new spending platform comes ahead of the possible decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, the 1973 ruling that established a national “right” to abortion.
A leaked draft majority opinion by Justice Samuel Alito in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization would essentially return authority over abortion to the states. As a result, the left is ablaze with anxiety, fear and outright anger.
The news of the situation provoked the leftist controlling party in California to seek to build a “firewall” to protect abortion, proposing an amendment to the state constitution, granting the right to an abortion which would replace the federal one.
Wednesday, Newsome went over the top, declaring that the state would pay for the following liberal wish list: a “Reproductive Rights” website, abortions for uninsured visitors, establishing a fund called “California Reproductive Justice & Freedom Fund” for pro-abortion community organizations, and research on “unmet needs for reproductive health care services.” The Golden State appears to run red. As one on-line critic observed-

Newsom went so far as to say he would support a package of business incentives to encourage companies to relocate to California to take advantage of the state’s liberal abortion laws. So, if you want to declare your business is for killing the unborn, California is the place to move to. Sadly, this means that this is a central piece of California’s values, as the left sees it.
The governor’s office further explained-
“By updating existing business incentive programs to provide additional consideration for companies leaving states that have enacted restrictions on reproductive rights and anti-LGBTQ+ laws, Governor Newsom is welcoming companies that share California’s values and doubling down on the diversity that makes our economy a global leader,”
Gavin Newsome could be renamed “Gruesome”. He is flat out stumping for businesses that fit his California values model, at the expense of millions of California and now national, lives. Maybe he should be required to watch the abortions he is forcing California taxpayers to pay for.
Funding those already here, is bad enough but inviting the whole nation to California to obtain free abortions (ending human life) is abominable. Gavin “Gruesome” and his leftist, progressively woke cronies are driving the state to ruin. “Pretty is as pretty does” and /or “You can’t put lipstick on a pig and call it anything else”. No wonder voices of reason are leaving as fast as they can.
