Three of the nation’s leading medical associations, asked President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate and prosecute parents and journalists who are concerned and some cases investigating hospitals and physicians who provide transgender surgeries to minors. They want to squelch opposition to their platform of transgender medicine, especially for children.
The American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, and Children’s Hospital Association sent a letter urging Attorney General Merrick Garland to-
“take swift action to investigate and prosecute”

-those who allegedly threaten physicians or target hospitals, and who provide transgender surgery to minors. In the letter to Garland they collectively wrote-
“We cannot stand by as threats of violence against our members and their patients proliferate with little consequence,”. “We call on the Department of Justice to investigate these attacks and social media platforms to reduce the spread of the misinformation enabling them.”

Claiming in the letter that children’s hospitals and their staff have faced “increased threats via social media,” along with “harassing emails, phone calls, and protestors at health care sites”, the letter seeks protection for these hospitals. The letter continued-
“These coordinated attacks threaten federally protected rights to health care for patients and their families,” calling on big tech “to do more to prevent this practice on digital platforms adding…“We stand with the physicians, nurses, mental health specialists, and other health care professionals providing evidence-based health care, including gender-affirming care, to children and adolescents,”

Online activists, including Twitter accounts like Libs of TikTok, have raised awareness about children’s hospitals that provide transgender surgeries for minors and have gotten the attention of the leftist propaganda arm of the medical profession – hence this letter.
Reportedly, Children’s National Hospital staff performs transgender surgeries on minors, including children younger than16 years old – according to the Libs of TikTok, who put out the information, this past August.
Admitting that mastectomies are included in the list of operations for transgender children, Dr. Morissa Ladinsky, a University of Alabama pediatrics professor, who provides “gender-affirming care” to trans children, claims that pediatricians do not perform genital surgery on children. However, other transgender health care, given to children, includes hormone therapy or puberty blockers.
Christopher Rufo, an Investigative reporter noted that the medical associations’ letter is part of the “Left’s playbook,” citing last year’s example when the National School Boards Association sent a letter, to the DOJ asking them to investigate parents, who were opposed to critical race theory. In a tweet Rufo said-
“This is now the Left’s playbook: last year, the National School Board Association, Department of Justice, and F.B.I. worked together to label parents who opposed critical race theory’ domestic terrorists ,”adding...“They want to stifle dissent, suppress speech, and criminalize opposition.”

Just when one thinks the left has no more to throw out there - the Medical Associations make up this ridiculous letter, to influence peddle to the Biden administration, involving Biden’s chief henchman – Merrick Garland.
No stranger to outright invasion of privacy and first amendment speech violations, Garland is called upon by this “medical” conglomerate, and the word is used loosely, to threaten those in America who want freedom for Americans of all ages – with time to grow up and define oneself before others do so permanently and with little to no regard for the depth of emotional maturity required for such a choice as this.
Not all of the Medical community agrees with this nonsense.
This letter is a shame and blot on the medical community. That they want to infringe on America’s constitutional rights is abhorrent. As Rufo said –….”the lefts playbook…” What a crazy way to get some really bad attention.
