Disney is in the middle of a huge controversy after announcing their support for the LGBTQ+ community and against Florida's parent rights bill. Hundreds of protesters have taken to the streets in front of Disney's headquarters, and parents around the nation are boycotting the company in droves. This continued controversy is now drawing critics from L.A. Officials, who are taking a stance against Florida, banning County Board of Supervisors from travelling to Florida and Texas.
Lara Trump states in an interview,
"We have a group of people who are pushing back against something that, either they don't understand, or they are really saying, we stand up and support sexualizing kids ages kindergarten through 3rd grade in America. It's mind boggling."
With so much available research just a click away, its hard to give any credence that these political figures don't understand what they are standing against.
Trump continues,
"...So many people who are speaking out against this Parental Rights Bill in Florida, clearly have not taken the time to actually learn what is in this bill and what it means, is shocking."
This is a push for progressivism, and many feel that it is taking family issues and making them political. Enough is enough! This is a huge disservice to families, and it needs to stop. Like Lara Trump, we will not be losing any sleep over these liberal officials not visiting Florida.
