It is no secret that Dr. Anthony Fauci has been one of the most influential people during the Coronavirus pandemic. He is praised by some and vilified by others, there is no doubt that he has had a powerful impact on the course of events over these last few years. It seems though that Fauci can't help but try to strip away our freedoms whenever he gets the chance.
Even though we are moving in the direction of herd immunity, he would have us move backward. Those with power seldom like to see it stripped away from them. He would have us stay in a unhealthy state of limbo and be ready at a moments notice to "pivot" back to “a more rigid type of restriction.”
Fauci said, “I don’t want to use the word ‘lockdown’ as that has a charged element to it, but I believe that we must keep our eye on the pattern of what we’re seeing with infections right now,” adding “we need to be prepared for the possibility that we would have another variant that would come along and then things change.”
Fauci has shown time and time again that he is more interested in controlling the population than he is in our individual freedoms. We must be vigilant and not let him take away any more of our hard-earned liberties.
