Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis administration, hit back against the class action lawsuits filed by the illegal migrants he shipped to Martha’s Vineyard last week. As previously reported by Breitbart News, on Tuesday, the illegal migrants, sued the governor, claiming that he violated their Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment rights by being deceived into taking the trips up to the wealthy liberal enclave. In the lawsuit filed by lawyers with the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) Alianza Americas and Lawyers for Civil Rights it stated -
“The Doe Defendants made false promises and false representations that if the individual Plaintiffs and other class members were willing to board airplanes to other states, they would receive employment, housing, educational opportunities, and other like assistance at their arrival,” said the lawsuit filed by lawyers with the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) Alianza Americas and Lawyers for Civil Rights.” And…
“In fact, Defendants had made no arrangements for employment, housing, educational opportunities, or other assistance for the individual Plaintiffs or other class members at their destination. Defendants had not even notified any governmental or non-profit entity that could provide such services that the individual Plaintiffs and their similarly-situated class members would be arriving.”

Responding to the lawsuit on Tuesday, Gov. DeSantis, stated that the migrants made a voluntary journey, to Martha’s Vineyard and that they were well cared for. Additionally, Taryn Fenske, DeSantis spokeswoman stated-
“If these activists spent even a fraction of this time and effort at the border, perhaps some accountability would be brought to the Biden Administration’s reckless border policies that entice illegal immigrants to make dangerous and often lethal journeys through Central America and put their lives in the hands of cartels and Coyotes.”

To make their case, Fenske even provided a copy of the consent form, that migrants were asked to sign before boarding the plane. On the form in both Spanish and English it read-
“I agree to hold the benefactor or its designed representatives harmless of all liability arising out of or in any way relating to any injuries and damages that may occur during the agreed transport to locations outside of Texas until the final destination in Massachusetts.”

Fenske continued-
“The immigrants were homeless and abandoned and that activists cared nothing for them until they were shipped to Martha’s Vineyard - Florida’s program gave them a fresh start in a sanctuary state and these individuals opted to take advantage of chartered flights to Massachusetts. It was disappointing that Martha’s Vineyard called in the Massachusetts National Guard to bus them away from the island within 48 hours.”

Democrats immediately began pushing the absurd talking point that DeSantis “kidnapped” the migrants, in order to use them as political pawns. This was after the migrants arrived on Martha’s Vineyard. Not to be left out, Liberal Left Democrat, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, called on Attorney General Merrick Garland to investigate potential wrongdoing.
Newsom wrote on Thursday-
“Like millions of Americans, I have been horrified at the images of migrants being shipped on buses and planes across the country to be used as political props. Clearly, transporting families, including children, across state lines under false pretenses is morally reprehensible, but it may also be illegal.”
Adding…
“I strongly urge the U.S. Department of Justice (US DOJ) to open an investigation into possible criminal or civil violations of federal law based on this alleged fraudulent scheme”

Immigration attorney Rachel Self, speaking to reporters in Martha’s Vineyard, also accused DeSantis of “kidnapping” the migrants by sending them to an island where millionaires vacation. How horrible for these illegal migrants to be dropped into the poshest place in America, at the expense of the State of Florida, only to be used by Democrats as a whipping post for Governor DeSantis, who tried to send them, to those, who have pledged to care for them in their states. This is a national crisis that DeSantis and Abbott are bringing right where it belongs – to these sanctuary states.
Now for sure these illegal migrants know, they are not wanted, especially by the rich Democrats who didn’t want them on their front porches, or on their luxury estates. What a mockery of care and concern, these sanctuary enclaves are. They lost no time, in whining severely, and then shipping these illegal migrants off the island, all with great haste.
What absolute hypocrisy, and what a load of bull this lawsuit from these illegals is. That they are sending anything legal rather than a thank you, from these persons, who should have been left at the border to be snapped up by the cartels, is significantly ungrateful.
These illegal migrants owe, their new lives of confusion, to Joe Biden, the Democrats and his poor border policies – The state of Florida and the United States of America owes them nothing. Zero!
