67-Year-Old Zhao Chunli in Custody After 7 Shot Dead In Gun-Controlled California

In Half Moon Bay, California, multiple people were killed in two related shootings Monday, at a mushroom farm and a trucking firm in a coastal community south of San Francisco. According to officials, the suspect is sixty-seven-year-old Zhao Chunli. He was taken into custody after seven people were killed in shootings on two separate farms in Half Moon Bay, California, Monday.

According to an ABC 7 report, seven were killed and one was wounded. They further reported that Chunli worked on one of the two mushroom farms and that all the shooting victims were Chunli’s coworkers. He was taken into custody when he turned himself into a police substation. The investigation into the motive for these shootings continues, with Chunli behind bars.

In a state with multiple gun laws, this is definitely a black eye for California. According to a Breitbart News report on June 5, 2022, California was number-one in gun control and number-one in “active shooter incidents” as well. In the previous year, 2021, the FBI indicated that California led the nation in “active shooter incidents”.

It just goes to prove that only honest gun owners follow the laws, the criminals do not care. Guns don’t’ kill – disreputable people do. In that case, gun laws do not matter. California continues to be the most regulated state in the nation – look at how effective it continues to be. No wonder people keep leaving in droves.
