Guy Benson, a contributor to Fox News, political editor of Townhall.com, and a conservative talk radio host, torches Biden on immigration double standards on the 'Guy Benson Show' podcast. He tells the detailed and highly elaborate story, of his return from a recent vacation, emphasizing the complex nature of his re-entry, as a legal US citizen, into this country.
He gives a blow by blow description of the over hour-long process he went through, just to be allowed to enter into the U.S. This is all after going through security in Ireland, and then passing through an Ireland side, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol station. This process occurred completely before being able to go to the gate, and be ready for boarding his international flight home.
He explains, that he understands that there is a proper process for US citizens, that is in place and needs followed. Further, he states that he was not really “pissed off” until, on the other side of U.S. Customs, there was a significant photo display of President Joe Biden and his DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas - staring him in the face. It was obviously more than he could handle.
He describes a deep feeling of anger / irritation that these two persons, who are literally the reason that over 3+ million people have been welcomed across the Southern Border of the U.S. unfettered. This he compares to his own requirement, as a law abiding, naturally-born citizen, who must face intense scrutiny to be welcomed back. He claims that if he had not wanted to be a part of the process, and had rushed the gates – he likely would have been detained, charged and likely prosecuted – while thousands of illegal migrants each month, simply walk across unnoticed, or if noticed, get processed and sent into the U.S. interior - never be asked to leave or are deported.
Benson goes on, to make the point that U.S. Immigration laws, matter only for those law-abiding Americans, but not for illegal immigrants, even touching on those who are actually in the process, for often years, to become legal U.S. citizens, who must feel like chumps or suckers in this case. He heavily focuses on, the fact that Americans are the ones who must prove who they are to come home, while on the U.S, Southern Border – they are free to enter. The hypocrisy is staggering.
The laws are apparently for some, but not all. Benson poses the question “What kind of message are we (as a country) sending?”
It is a longer video than most, but definitely worth the challenge, of following the arduous process he describes for the “law abiding American” to return, and alternatively making the case for what Biden and his administration is currently doing to the America we know, by his open border policy on our U.S. Southern Border – It is a sobering expose’.
“The time to act is now, before it's too late. Indeed, there is power in numbers, but if those numbers will not unite and rise up against their oppressors, there can be no resistance. You can't have it both ways. You can't live in a constitutional republic if you allow the government to act like a police state. You can't claim to value freedom if you allow the government to operate like a dictatorship. You can't expect to have your rights respected if you allow the government to treat whomever it pleases with disrespect and a utter disregard for the rule of law.”
