FBI Raid Was A ‘Massive Blunder’: Former CIA Officer

On ‘Fox & Friends Weekend’, Former CIA officer Buck Sexton, analyzed the heavily redacted affidavit, for the FBI raid of former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. Sexton agrees that he expected the 55-60% redacted document to be as such.

According to him there are several reasons why the redactions are not surprising : one the unredacted version is not to the DOJ’s advantage, two the possibility might exist that if it was less redacted, the public could read the document and question the DOJ’s judgment, having the ability to evaluate what’s being sought, especially if it doesn’t seem to be impactful enough to justify the raid itself, and three, why would they show even the titles or subject matter to the public that are of a significantly classified level?

In either case, Sexton went on to say, that he believes the documents release-

“went down with a thud”,( people are asking) “so now what are you going to do?” and “what do you expect us to do trust you?”

- Buck Sexton, Former CIA Officer

The expectation as discussed, is that America should literally ,“trust”, all that is not available for review, in this document. What the DOJ and FBI are asking of the American people, is unrealistic. This is given all that has transpired, in the very recent past, causing a large percentage of Americans to wholly distrust these institutions.

In citing the recent FBI admission that they deliberately stated, that the Hunter Biden laptop was “Russian disinformation”, a clear lie on their part and further creating media meddling, just prior to the 2020 presidential election, Sexton makes the statement that the FBI “is not that dumb but they are that dishonest”.

According to Sexton, they are going to prosecute Trump or have to admit that the raid on his Mar-a-Lago home was “a massive blunder”. America will see how this plays out, just weeks before the Nations mid-term elections. Stay tuned.

“Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear."
