President Donald Trump just dropped a bombshell that’s got the political swamp buzzing with unease.
Breitbart reported that Trump has publicly called for a deep dive into the murky ties between the late Jeffrey Epstein and several high-profile Democrats, alongside a major financial institution, following a massive document dump by congressional overseers.
This saga kicked off earlier this week when House Republicans, through the Oversight Committee, unleashed over 20,000 pages of records from Epstein’s estate, shining a harsh light on some eyebrow-raising associations.
Just days after the document release, Trump took to Truth Social with a fiery post, announcing his intent to push Attorney General Pam Bondi and federal law enforcement to investigate these connections.
He’s pointing fingers at names like former President Bill Clinton, former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, and Democrat donor Reid Hoffman, alongside financial giant JPMorgan Chase, for their alleged proximity to Epstein.
Trump didn’t mince words, framing this as a desperate distraction by Democrats from their policy missteps, including a messy government shutdown debacle.
The released records paint a troubling picture, particularly for Summers, who served under both Clinton and Obama, showing frequent email exchanges with Epstein in the late 2010s, far more personal than previously admitted.
Reports suggest these communications, sometimes multiple times a day, hint at a relationship that’s closer than the public was led to believe, raising questions about what was discussed behind closed doors.
Meanwhile, Trump insists that records show Clinton, Hoffman, and others spent considerable time with Epstein, including visits to his infamous private island—a detail that’s hard to brush off as a mere coincidence.
On the flip side, Trump has made it clear he’s got no skin in this game, having reportedly cut ties with Epstein long before the financier’s legal troubles came to a head.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt backed this up, stating, “Trump booted Jeffrey Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago club because Epstein was a pedophile and ‘creep.’”
That’s a stark contrast to the cozy associations others allegedly maintained, and it’s a point Trump seems eager to hammer home as he shifts the narrative.
Trump also didn’t hold back in his broader critique, declaring, “This is another Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, with all arrows pointing to the Democrats.”
He’s framing Epstein as a problem squarely in the Democratic camp, urging the public to focus scrutiny on Clinton, Summers, and Hoffman rather than getting sidetracked by what he sees as political smoke and mirrors.
As for JPMorgan Chase, they’ve distanced themselves as well, with a spokeswoman noting they severed ties with Epstein well before his arrest on serious charges, though the bank’s name in this mix still raises plenty of eyebrows.
