Radical Left-Wing Says NO JOE in 2024 With 6-Figure Ad Campaign

On Tuesday, a radical left group urged President Joe Biden not to run in 2024, with a six figure “#DontRunJoe” ad campaign to that effect.

With just 26 percent of Democrat voters supporting Biden’s reelection campaign, Democrats are organizing to hinder the president’s hopes of winning four more years. RootsAction, is a far-left group that describes themselves as-

“dedicated to galvanizing people who are committed to economic fairness, equal rights for all, civil liberties, environmental protection,”

– RootsAction

The group plans to take out a six-figure ad, to block Biden’s 2024 nomination, complaining-

“Unfortunately, President Biden has been neither bold nor inspiring,” RootsAction told Politico. “And his prospects for winning re-election appear to be bleak. With so much at stake, making him the Democratic Party’s standard bearer in 2024 would be a tragic mistake.”

Because of Biden’s string of failures, such as: a baby formula shortage, 40-year-high inflation, record high gas prices, and a record numbers of foreign nationals crossing the southern border, the group’s “immediate goal” is to “dump Biden”

According to their website:

“In 2024 the United States will face the dual imperatives of preventing a Republican takeover of the White House and advancing a truly progressive agenda,” RootsAction said in a statement. With so much at stake, re-nominating Biden “would be a tragic mistake.” The statement concluded: “A president is not his party’s king, and he has no automatic right to re-nomination. Joe Biden should not seek it. If he does, he will have a fight on his hands.”

“RootsAction, which supported Bernie Sanders for president in 2016 and 2020, co-sponsored the independent Bernie Delegates Network. And RootsAction was one of the two organizations, that launched the Impeach Donald Trump Now campaign on the day that Trump was inaugurated.”

Democrats are frustrated with Biden, who is “dithering” while far-left priorities are left unmet. Co-founder of RootsAction, Jeff Cohen stated-

“If you’re in touch with Democratic Party activists, the frustration is palpable,”… “Biden appears to be dithering while progressive achievements just go out the window, from abortion rights to the Clean Air Act.”

Besides RootsAction, there is a growing list of organizations opposing Biden’s 2024 run and possible nomination. The New York Times has written no less than six articles, this past month questioning Biden’s re-election bid, essentially trying to ruin it. Also opposed to Biden’s re-election, is the establishment media. And then there’s New York Magazine’s Ed Kilgore, who penned an article Monday entitled “Are Democrats Stuck With Joe Biden in 2024?” which slams Biden for not already stepping aside:

“If things go as badly as expected for Democrats on November 8, many in the party will be quietly and not so quietly urging the 46th president to retire at the end of his term. But if he stubbornly refuses to pack it in, what then? Are Democrats stuck with Biden-Harris ’24 anyway? Strange to say, but they might be.”

-Ed Kilgore, New York Magazine

According to the Times, polling shows Biden severely lacks Democratic support for a 2024 bid for the White House. Sixty-four percent of Democrat voters prefer a Biden substitute, while only twenty-six percent of Democrat voters support Biden’s reelection. According to CNN, a published list of potential Democrat 2024 frontrunners to replace Biden include: Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA), Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA), Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D-IL), and Gov. Jarad Polis (D-CO). According to the article

“Many of the Democratic leaders, operatives and donors who spoke to CNN about having these conversations insist it’s precisely their fear of Trump beating Biden that is driving them to cast around for possible other options,”

– Times Article

“If you really believe in a cause, let the cause speak for itself. And if you, by your personality, are damaging that cause, if you really believe in it, you step aside.”
