Amid rumors about Haitian migrants eating pets in Springfield, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced that the National Guard would be deployed to Springfield according to Breitbart.
A controversy has erupted following claims by former President Donald Trump during a presidential debate that Haitian migrants have been consuming local pets. Governor Mike DeWine, addressing the situation, emphasized his trust in local officials who have denied these allegations.
The allegations began to surface when Trump claimed that migrants in Springfield were involved in stealing and eating pets, such as dogs and cats.
This claim comes as many citizens have come forward with stories about the migrants. There is also police bodycam footage and reports that show that the thousands of migrants dumped into Ohio aren't assimilating by any stretch of the imagination. Despite this, DeWine has taken the cowardly route by denying the allegations of citizens in favor of the claims of city bureaucrats.
Residents of Springfield voiced their anxieties at a city commission meeting. They reported noticing unusual behavior concerning the local wildlife, specifically at parks.
These concerns have been brushed aside by city officials who appear to have an interest in covering up for the Haitian immigrants who were seemingly flown in out of nowhere by the Biden administration.
Governor DeWine noted that neither the Springfield city manager nor the mayor has encountered any credible evidence to substantiate the disturbing claims. “I think we should take the word of the city manager and the mayor that they have found no credible evidence of that story, of Haitians eating pets,” DeWine stated, dismissing the rumors.
City Manager Bryan Heck also addressed the rumors, calling them a product of misinformation exacerbated by political rhetoric.
He emphasized that such claims distract from the positive contributions of a diversifying workforce, which supports local businesses and economic stability. Diversifying workforce, aka cheaper labor to replace Springfield residents. This only benefits big businesses at the expense of the local people who have lived in Springfield for years.
While the evidence isn't conclusive, where there's smoke there's fire and it appears that city authorities are all in on ignoring the very real evidence that Haitians are preying on pets for both food as well as rumored voodoo rituals.
As if to reinforce the reality that not all is well in Springfield, DeWine has still ordered both financial aid and the National Guard to address the situation. The state of Ohio has welcomed approximately 20,000 Haitian migrants under President Biden's Temporary Protected Status program.
To assist with the integration and support of this influx, Governor DeWine announced that Ohio will allocate $2.5 million over the next two years. This funding is earmarked for healthcare services, and the dispatch of Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers is intended to maintain order and ensure safety.
Ohio is spending millions to support thousands of immigrants that Biden brought in and those immigrants are replacing the local populace as well as failing to integrate if the rumors are indeed true.
The mainstream media's desperation to shut this story down only serves as further proof that Springfield may be the epicenter of something devastating for the American people.
The local community's reaction has been mixed, with some expressing skepticism towards the migrants due to the rumors. However, many have also shown support for the newcomers, encouraged by the official statements from their leaders.
So once again, it has become clear that it is longtime residents on one side making allegations about the immigrants vs. Springfield city leaders who have a vested interest in protecting these immigrants. After all, the state is spending millions on integrating them and those millions are going into city leaders's pockets.
The residents of Springfield deserve to be heard and a thorough investigation must be undertaken. Trump is advocating for this while Governor DeWine, an alleged Republican, claims that everything is fine and there's nothing to see here all while the Biden administration dumps thousands of immigrants in already struggling cities.
