According to The National Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) there has been a reported 43 percent increase compared to the number of officers who were shot at the same time last year and a 63 percent rise compared to the year before. That accounts for a total of 101 officers that have been shot in the line of duty as of Friday so far this year, with 17 of these killed by gunfire.
đ¨NEW REPORT: These historic numbers are horrific and are an absolute stain on our society. When the vast majority of media elites decide that this issue isnât worth covering, it speaks volumes as to where our society is heading.

When interviewed by Fox News, National FOP President, Patrick Yoes was quoted as declaring âWe are in the midst of a real crisis. The violence directed at law enforcement officers is unlike anything Iâve seen in my 36 years of law enforcement,â
Yoes also added âLast year was one of the most dangerous years for law enforcement, with more officers shot in the line of duty since the National Fraternal Order of Police began recording this data,â which the FOP termed âhorrific,â stating it was an âabsolute stain on our societyâ in its recent social media posting.
The FOP continued – âWhen the vast majority of media elites decide that this issue isnât worth covering, it speaks volumes as to where our society is heading,â
Recently, according to Fox News, the states with the most officers killed this year were Arizona, Texas, New York, Georgia, and Washington. Additionally, according to a Breitbart News report, 13 officers located in different areas of the country were shot during a 24-hour time period. This is a national travesty! Americaâs frontline responders/defenders are being slaughtered with little done about it.
In a January Breitbart News article, the Rev. Franklin Graham took radical attorney generals / prosecutors to task, following attacks and killings of officers nationwide, stating that âprosecutors and attorneys general are allowing hardened criminals to commit crimes and walk back out onto the streets, sometimes within hours.â He added âIt isnât hard to figure out that this puts the police and the public at great risk. These prosecutors and attorneys general need to be held accountable for what they are doing to our communities and how it is affecting peopleâs lives.â
Reverend Graham concluded âGod holds all of us accountable, down to every word that we speakâand He demands truth because He is truth.â Accountability is lost on the radical left as they side more with the villains than the victims of these crimes against law enforcement, excusing their behaviors as the result of racist or ethnically charged upbringings.
America must begin to speak up on behalf of these brave first responders and the families that support them. Rev. Graham is correct â God will judge them for their actions and America for itsâ failure to oppose their needless deaths with inaction on their behalf.
