Leftist protestor hit with charges for attacking RFK Jr. advisor at U.N.

 September 28, 2025

Imagine walking through the hallowed halls of the United Nations, only to be blindsided by a shouting activist with a blinding light and a vendetta.

Breitbart reported that on Thursday afternoon at the U.N. headquarters on 45th Street in New York City, Sara Kennedy, a senior advisor to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., endured a shocking assault by 62-year-old Patricia Schuh, now facing multiple charges, including assault and aggravated harassment.

The incident began in a hallway where Schuh first confronted Kennedy, shining a disorienting light in her face while filming her every move. It’s the kind of stunt that screams "performance art" more than principled protest, but the aggression was all too real.

As Kennedy tried to escape, Schuh pursued her across a lobby, yelling “Free Palestine” and hurling insults like “fascist” and “Nazi.” The rhetoric was as heated as a social media thread, but far more dangerous in person.

The chase didn’t stop there—Schuh followed Kennedy into a bathroom, screaming “slut” and pushing at the stall door as Kennedy sought refuge inside. One has to wonder if Schuh thought this was activism or just a personal grudge taken to unhinged extremes.

Inside the stall, the situation escalated when Schuh allegedly scratched Kennedy’s right eye, possibly with a phone or jewelry, turning a verbal attack into a physical injury. It’s a stark reminder that words can wound, but actions cut deeper.

Escaping the Assault, Seeking Safety

Kennedy waited in the stall, hoping the shouting would cease, only to find Schuh lurking outside when she emerged. The persistence here isn’t admirable—it’s obsessive and alarming.

Schuh continued to trail Kennedy down the hallway, undeterred, until Kennedy finally managed to break free from the harassment. It’s a relief she got away, but no one should have to play hide-and-seek to feel safe at the U.N.

Medics treated Kennedy’s eye injury on-site, though she declined hospital care, showing resilience in the face of an unsettling ordeal. Her presence at the U.N. was to support Secretary Kennedy’s discussions on preventing noncommunicable diseases, not to become a target.

Schuh was arrested and charged with assault, aggravated harassment, attempted assault, and criminal possession of a weapon before being released from custody the following night. She’s set to appear in court on Nov. 13, where one hopes accountability will match the audacity of her actions.

The Secret Service is reportedly investigating the incident, a necessary step given the breach of decorum and safety in an international venue. When security fails at this level, it’s not just an inconvenience—it’s a glaring red flag.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly linked this attack to broader security lapses at the U.N., including a stopped escalator and a malfunctioning teleprompter during President Trump’s recent visit.

“An HHS official was followed into a bathroom, recorded, physically assaulted, and verbally accosted by a deranged leftist at the U.N. who somehow entered the venue past multiple layers of security,” Kelly stated. Her words underline a troubling pattern of negligence at a place meant to symbolize global order.

Political Tensions and Broader Implications

Kelly also noted, “Thankfully, the official is safe. And the lunatic was arrested, but this is part of a disturbing and dangerous set of failures by the U.N. after their sabotage of President Trump ahead of and during his speech.” Her frustration with the U.N.’s apparent inability to maintain control is hard to dismiss when incidents pile up like this.

Sara Kennedy herself reflected on the ordeal, saying, “It felt very political in nature.” That’s an understatement when you’re chased through a bathroom by someone wielding ideology as a weapon—literally and figuratively.

This incident isn’t just about one advisor’s harrowing experience; it’s a microcosm of how political fervor can spill over into personal attacks, especially against those tied to figures like Secretary Kennedy, who challenge the progressive status quo.

While everyone has a right to protest, crossing into violence undermines any cause. Let’s hope the court date brings clarity and consequences, not just for Schuh, but for how we handle dissent in spaces meant for dialogue.
