Could a presidential pardon, meant to be an act of mercy, be nothing more than a shield for deception?
On a broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Rep. James Comer (R-KY), chairman of the House Oversight Committee, dropped a bombshell by demanding that pardons issued by the Biden administration be declared null and void, citing alarming evidence of a potential cover-up surrounding President Joe Biden’s mental state and involvement in key decisions.
Breitbart reported that Comer’s call to action specifically targeted high-profile pardons, including those granted to Biden’s brother, Jim, and former public health official Anthony Fauci.
The evidence Comer presented is nothing short of eyebrow-raising, drawn from hours of depositions and testimonies by White House staffers that suggest Biden was kept at arm’s length from both the public and his own team.
One striking detail came from Ian Sams, a spokesperson for Biden, who admitted under oath to meeting directly with the president only twice in two years—a staggering revelation for someone in such a public-facing role.
Equally concerning, an executive secretary—a position historically close to the president across multiple administrations—confessed to going weeks without any interaction with Biden, painting a picture of a leader isolated from even his inner circle.
Comer didn’t stop there, pointing to a glaring absence of documentation that would indicate Biden’s active participation in critical decisions.
There are no notes in the National Archives, no emails, nothing to suggest the president was directly engaged, which begs the question: Who was really calling the shots?
Adding fuel to the fire, Comer highlighted inconsistencies in staffer testimonies, noting how stories seemed to shift from claims of Biden’s verbal approvals to vague references to memos—a convenient pivot that raises suspicion.
Perhaps most damning, three staffers and a doctor involved in the investigation invoked the Fifth Amendment, refusing to provide further information—a move that hardly screams transparency.
Comer also remarked on Biden’s silence since leaving office, noting that the former president hasn’t granted a single television interview, leaving the public to wonder about his condition.
Even a recent statement criticizing Comer’s report didn’t come from Biden himself but from an unnamed staffer, further deepening the mystery of who’s speaking for whom.
“Are you of the view that, for instance, Biden’s pardon of his brother Jim or, let’s say, Anthony Fauci, are you of the view that those pardons are null and void, given what you know?” asked host Laura Ingraham, cutting straight to the heart of the controversy.
“I am — absolutely 100%. If anyone doubts whether or not there was a cover-up, they need to watch every minute of the testimony that we got, all of the hours and hours of depositions from these staffers,” Comer responded, doubling down on his stance with a conviction that’s hard to ignore.
