Illegal immigrant released by Biden accused of beheading man in motel parking lot

 September 13, 2025

A gruesome scene unfolded in Dallas when a Cuban migrant allegedly beheaded a man in a motel parking lot.

On Wednesday, 37-year-old Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, an illegal immigrant, reportedly killed 50-year-old Chandra Mouli Nagamallaiah, an Indian national, at the Downtown Suites motel after a heated argument.

Breitbart reported that Cobos-Martinez, released into Texas by the Biden administration on Jan. 13, 2025, was arrested after carrying the victim’s severed head to a dumpster. The shocking act, witnessed by the victim’s wife and child, has reignited debates over immigration enforcement.

The altercation began when Nagamallaiah instructed a coworker to translate, angering Cobos-Martinez. He allegedly drew a machete and attacked the victim. Nagamallaiah fled toward the motel office, but the assault continued unabated.

Brutal Attack Shocks Witnesses

The victim’s wife and son tried desperately to intervene. Cobos-Martinez, undeterred, severed Nagamallaiah’s head in their presence. Such a brazen act of violence raises questions about public safety and unchecked criminality.

A graphic video captured the suspect carrying the bloodied head across the parking lot. He reportedly kicked it twice, treating it like a soccer ball, before tossing it into a dumpster. The sheer callousness of this act defies comprehension, yet it underscores the need for stricter vetting.

Dallas Fire and Rescue crews, arriving at the scene, followed Cobos-Martinez down the road. Police soon apprehended him, his white t-shirt drenched in the victim’s blood. The swift response likely prevented further chaos.

Cobos-Martinez’s rap sheet is a laundry list of violent offenses, including grand theft, carjacking, false imprisonment, and even indecency with a child. Released from custody in January 2025 due to a lack of removal flights to Cuba, he was free to roam Texas.

“This is a horrible and senseless act of violence that could have been prevented had this dangerous alien not been allowed to stay in the U.S,” an ICE spokesperson said. That statement hits hard, but it’s tough to disagree when a known criminal was released to wreak havoc. Policy failures shouldn’t cost lives.

ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations team assisted Dallas police in interrogating Cobos-Martinez. “ERO Dallas swiftly lodged an immigration detainer on the suspect,” the ICE spokesperson added. Yet, detainers after the fact feel like locking the barn door once the horse has bolted.

Video Evidence Horrifies Community

A slightly censored social media video shows the EMS crew arriving as Cobos-Martinez handles the severed head. He drops it, pauses, then picks it up again, leaving blood pools on the pavement. The chilling footage is a grim reminder of what happens when enforcement lapses.

The suspect calmly walked to a dumpster, opened the gate, and discarded the head. Bystanders pointed him out to paramedics, who alerted police. Such brazen behavior suggests a man unafraid of consequences, emboldened by a system that let him slip through.

Fox 4 footage shows police cuffing Cobos-Martinez, his shirt soaked red. The visual is a stark indictment of a system that allowed a violent offender back onto the streets. Conservatives rightly ask: How many more tragedies must occur before policies change?

Cobos-Martinez was last in ICE custody at Bluebonnet Detention Center until his January release. No removal flights to Cuba meant he walked free under an order of supervision. That decision, rooted in diplomatic gridlock, now looks like a fatal misstep.

The victim’s family, forced to witness the unthinkable, deserves answers. Why was a man with such a violent past allowed to remain in the U.S.? The Biden administration’s approach to immigration enforcement is under fire, and cases like this fuel the MAGA call for tougher borders.
