According to Biden’s only serious political opponent in the 2024 race, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Facebook-owned Instagram is preventing him from setting up an official campaign account. Kennedy, who is competing with President Joe Biden in the Democrat primary, said in a post on Twitter, that his campaign account is being automatically banned when they attempt to set up a campaign account.
This past April, RFK Jr. officially announced his candidacy for President in Boston, Massachusetts. An environmental lawyer and outspoken anti-vaccine activist, RFK Jr. joined self-help author Marianne Williamson in the Democratic presidential field of challengers for 2024.
The Democrat candidate posted on Twitter-
“When we use our TeamKennedy email address to set up Instagram accounts we get an automatic 180-day ban,”… “Can anyone guess why that’s happening?”…“To silence a major political candidate is profoundly undemocratic. Social media is the modern equivalent of the town square. How can democracy function if only some candidates have access to it?”

In another tweet, RFK Jr. thanked Twitter owner Elon Musk, for allowing him and his campaign to “have a voice.” Musk reportedly followed up the Tweet, with an offer to host a discussion on Spaces, Twitter’s live audio broadcasting platform, with the candidate.
RFK Jr. has become well known in the very recent past for challenging mainstream narratives about the coronavirus outbreak, and the dangers of vaccines. His personal Instagram account was reportedly banned from the platform in February of 2021, at the pinnacle of the coronavirus panic, for what Facebook claimed was “repeatedly sharing debunked claims about the coronavirus or vaccines.” RFK Jr. is the nephew of the 35th President, John F. Kennedy.
In early May, according to a report by Breitbart News, Kennedy criticized the establishment’s embrace of censorship, saying “we’re now in this situation where without free speech, democracy just withers and dies.” The outlet reported-
“Mr. Biden is for censorship. I’m against it,” he said. “The White House, we now know from the Twitter files, has been trying to censor me, ordering, and pressuring the social media platforms to censor me and many, many other people. Anybody who dissents from some of [Biden’s] policies … That is something that is wholly antithetical to the Democratic Party.”
“Free speech is the fertilizer; it’s the sunlight; it’s the water for democracy,” he continued. “There is no time in history where the people who were censoring speech were the good guys.”
[Of Open Borders he said]…“We should have closed borders, and we should expand immigration,” Kennedy said. “It’s not racist or insensitive to say that we need to close our borders and have an orderly immigration policy. I would expand legal immigration to this country that’s orderly, that makes sense for our country, but also that our borders are impervious.”… “these open-door policies” have hurt children and have created a “humanitarian crisis” at the Southern Border. “We have a crisis, and we need to close our border,” Kennedy said.”

Kennedy has been an active critic of Biden’s policies including, censorship of free speech, China’s growing influence in the U.S. and the nations open borders. He opposes, among other things, the Chinese investment in the American economy, focusing particularly on the communist nation’s purchases of farmland across the country. Further, Kennedy has promised to use tariffs to protect American workers if elected President.
It looks as though, the establishment, is again actively thwarting free speech by dis-allowing RFK Jr. access to the masses in establishing his campaign Instagram account. It will be interesting to see how Zuck and Meta respond to these latest allegations.
The clearly, partisan antics of Zuck, who apparently supports the puppet campaign of Biden, will likely be back testifying before Congress, yet again soon for this debacle. Again, “selective” free speech seems to be a Facebook hallmark. At least Twitter and Musk are keeping the airwaves open, despite the ire of the progressive left socialists.
