Donald Trump Calls For Drug Dealers And Human Traffickers To Get Death Penalty

During a ‘Save America’ rally held in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Friday night, former President Donald Trump called on drug dealers, human traffickers, and those who kill police to get the death penalty. At the rally he stated-

“So, this is a little controversial. And I will either get a standing ovation – and I don’t care about the ovation, I care about the country – or people are going to walk out of the room for what I’m about to say. But it’s time finally to say it. If you look at countries all throughout the world…The only ones that don’t have a drug problem are those that institute the death penalty for drug dealers. They’re the only ones, they don’t have any problem”…And (he added) “Those who kill police officers as well as those who kill through human trafficking,”

He continued-

“So, we can be streetwise tough and smart and end our problem or we can be politically correct, weak and frankly, extremely stupid,” Trump said. “Which is probably the way we will continue to be and lose millions and millions more people to a scourge the likes of which our country and most other countries have never seen before.” Adding  “So do something about it. It’s the only way you’re going to win, the only way you’re going to win all right,”

During his presidency in 2018, Trump supported this policy. According to Jonathan Swan of  Axios’, Trump secretly favored the policy in February of 2018 and just one month later, came out in public support of the policy. At the time Trump said-

“If we don’t get tough on the drug dealers, we are wasting our time,” adding “That toughness includes the death penalty.”

On Friday night, Trump campaigned in Las Vegas on behalf of Adam Laxalt, candidate for U.S. Senate, and Sheriff Joe Lombardo, candidate for governor. On Saturday, Trump campaigned in  Alaska in support of Sarah Palin’s candidate for U.S. House and Kelly Tshibaka’s run for U.S. Senate.

Watching the Alaska rally in its entirety was flat out inspiring. To witness the way Trump was able to electrify the crowd, with so little effort, was an amazing thing to experience. His straight up remarks without apology, his efficacy of addressing the issues that are at the heart of where is America is, with a fluid command of facts, is something we are sorely missing in Washington.

The effect was like mentally waking from a long slumber, refreshed by inspiring, engaging rhetoric that focused the listener on America’s values and cultivated a call to action, with a refocus on what’s still good about this nation. The contrast was staggering. One could not help but be engaged, with a sense of true hope moving forward.

And for all the wrong that was discussed at the hands of the liberal left, from Biden on down – Trump continually brought his talk back to discussing how great America really is, full of people of all ethnicities, all walks of life, compassionate, hard-working, dedicated to family, God and our liberties. It was a HUGE breath of fresh air in a climate of stagnation, oppression, and hardship on many fronts.

Trump laid out what is really at stake in this mid-term election, taking back control of our government so that the world will know America is not what Joe Biden and the liberal left are putting it out there as – a weak, beggar on the world stage that bows a knee to anyone and everyone. Trump said that –

“America bows a knee only to God” [With Emphasis]

And the crowd came unglued with thunderous applause.

He went on to say that our economy, energy industries, borders, crime, free speech, right to carry and bear arms,

the sanctity of life, taxation and so much more – are all at stake and he gave examples of each category from memory – or if he had a teleprompter, it was in bullet points, because he spoke to the crowd effortlessly about each subject. His command of speaking, is only surpassed by his obvious passion to set things right. It was sobering and elating all at the same time.

Lastly Trump urged a crowd of thousands in and out of the stadium in Anchorage to get out the vote. November is first, then, he hinted at a White House run in 2024, while not stating so. Yes, he talks about all of the tremendously wrong things that have transpired since Joe Biden took office but his overarching theme is let’s take America back in all of those areas in question and not waste any more time in doing so.

“Men make history and not the other way around. In periods where there is no leadership, society stands still. Progress occurs when courageous, skillful leaders seize the opportunity to change things for the better”
