After his Politico interview on Monday, announcing his plans to retire at the end of President Joe Biden’s term, Dr. Anthony Fauci, scrambled Tuesday to clarify what he really meant.
Monday, lamenting that Americans were no longer listening to his recommendations on masking or vaccines, emphasizing continued masking for safety, and the fact that mid-term elections might prove litigious (investigations) for him with a new House – he was planning to retire.
It was basically another dose of I need an emotional/social “fix” because I need the lime-light. The Monday interview was pathetic, as Fauci whined about his failure to get anyone to listen to him. When you lie, twist the truth incessantly, hide your involvement in the research that brought us the coronavirus – costing over a million American lives and spend your time telling others to do what you do not, fanning illegitimately the flames of fear – there is nothing to respect, let alone listen to. He postulated-
“We’re in a pattern now. If somebody says, ‘You’ll leave when we don’t have COVID anymore,’ then I will be 105. I think we’re going to be living with this,” and “It’s becoming more and more difficult to get people to listen, because even the people who are compliant want this behind them,” …“Just because people are not wearing masks is not a reason for you not to wear a mask,” he said. “You can still protect yourself very well with a properly fitted, adequate mask.” and of the new House in November…“They’re going to try and come after me, anyway. I mean, probably less so if I’m not in the job”– Dr. Anthony Fauci
The only partially truthful thing Fauci said, was that he acknowledged in that same interview, with Politico, that the coronavirus would outlive his professional career.
OK – Take 2, The Fauci Flip Flop
On Tuesday, at The Hill’s “Future of Health Care Summit,” Dr. Fauci stated definitively that he does not plan to retire. Though he has been considering, when he will step down from his current government post, he clarified his new position on any possible retirement. He stated-
“I’m not going to retire. No, no, I’m not going to retire. I may step down from my current position at some time,”– Dr. Anthony Fauci
Asked if he would continue working for the federal government, if former President Trump won in the 2024 presidential election, since Trump is widely expected to announce his intentions for the 2024 election later this year, Fauci claimed-
“I said a very innocent but true thing. I said whether it’s Donald Trump or it’s Joe Biden’s second term, I don’t intend to be in my current position in January of 2025,” and “What happens between now and then I have not decided, but the one thing I do know is that I have other things that I want to do in a professional way that I want to have the capability — while I still have the energy and the passion to do them.”– Dr. Anthony Fauci
Fauci is so self-important, pompous, elitist and deceitful – it is hard to watch or listen to him at all. This is a clear case of “small man syndrome”. He must be heeded or people will die! When in fact, those that did and didn’t listen, still got COVID 19 and still died – over a million Americans. That is tragically the fact here.
So much needs to be investigated, about this small but politically insulated tyrant. America needs to hold Dr. Anthony Fauci responsible for his part in bring this virus to our shores. America deserves the truth. We will not get it out of Fauci on his own. If anyone deserves to be handed swift justice at the hands of Congress, it’s Fauci. Stay tuned.
