Recently, Bette Midler called for "every woman and girl" to disrespect the national anthem by kneeling. This is nothing less than spitting on the graves of those who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms.
In apparent protest of the U.S. Supreme Court’s forthcoming decision on Roe v. Wade. Bette Midler is trying to use her influence to have American citizens show insolence to the Flag during the national anthem. This show of disdain was first popularized by football star Colin Kaepernick, and since then it is a preferred form of protest among far-left athletes and celebrities.
It's appalling how Hollywood celebrities continue to scorn our country and the brave men and women who have fought and died for it. They think their fame and money holds them above reproach. This is just the latest in a long line of protests by celebrities who are completely out of touch with reality. It's time we stopped listening to their political opinions and started holding them accountable for their actions. I wonder how they would feel if America started to boycott Hollywood, affecting their paychecks?
Midler isn't the only one who is trying to sway her fans, Left-wing actresses Mia Farrow and Rosanna Arquette has declared their open contempt for our country on social media. Both saying they will take a knee in protest of the national anthem and U.S. flag.
What is happening in America right now? It seems like every day, we are bombarded with stories of disrespect and outrage. These people have no appreciation for what our country has done for them. Instead, they use their fame to push a political agenda that most of us don't agree with. This is a slap in the face to all those who have died defending our country. It's time we stand up to these entitled elitists and show them that we will not be silent.
