After forcing asylum officers, along the southern border, to work both weekend days to deal with the migrant surge post Title 42 public health order, a disconnected and privileged President Joe Biden will spend the weekend at his beach home in Rehoboth, Delaware. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre, announced on Friday, that on Saturday morning, the president will deliver the Howard University commencement address in Washington, D.C.
Pierre said-
"The president will then travel to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where he and the first lady will remain over the weekend”

On Friday, according to a Fox News report, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is forcing asylum officers to work through the weekend in an effort to deal with the surge of migrants at the southern border seeking to claim asylum. In a memo sent by Ted Kim, Associate director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Refugee, Asylum and International Operations (RAIO), it stated that employees had been informed Thursday of the need for them to work at least one day over the weekend. It has been since changed to say-
"Developments emerging over the course of the day made clear that more resources are needed, and we must take immediate steps to increase the number of staff available on both Saturday and Sunday to meet the need," …"In order to ensure full operational readiness, I must now ask that all Asylum Division employees, with limited exception, work both Saturday and Sunday this weekend,"
Apparently, the only positions exempted will be those who do not provide direct support to the "credible fear" process. This is the segment, in which migrants seeking to claim asylum first establish that they have a credible fear of persecution if returned to their home country.
Encountering over 10,000 migrants a day for at least three days this week so far, Border Patrol agents, have faced multiple sectors at overcapacity. This is all while Biden naps in his beach chair. This president is so disconnected from reality. That he can ask, those who work at the border to give up their weekends while he sips tea at the beach is beyond believable. It’s not like he has to write his own speech for the commencement at Howard University – he just has to read it without stumbling over the words.
When the troops are in the heat of a battle, is not the time to leave the fighting and have some personal R & R. Biden continues to defy reason. But then, that is what Joes’ feeble mind is losing – the ability to reason – or he would stay in the fight with those who are waging the war at his request. How incredibly sadly irresponsible.
