In a tweet, complete with a photo of the “trans pride flag” flying outside of the Hubert Humphrey building on Thursday morning, HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra stated federal support for the transgender activist agenda.
He declared “On this International #TransDayofVisibility, I say to our transgender communities: we see you, we stand with you, and we will be there for you. For the first time in history, the transgender flag is flying in front of a federal agency, @HHSGov’s Hubert Humphrey building”.
Becerra also added “Discrimination against transgender people has no place in this country. @HHSGov will continue to do everything in our power to protect the health care of transgender people, including their access to gender-affirming care,” a reference to puberty-blocking hormone interventions and even body altering surgeries.
This support follows President Joe Biden’s celebration of transgenderism by recently issuing a statement to commemorate a “Transgender Day of Visibility.” Biden took aim at Republican-led states that have passed legislation protecting women’s sports and supporting the prohibition of inappropriate gender conversations in young children’s classrooms, declaring “These bills are wrong.” His administration has also characterized these actions as “dangerous and anti-transgender legislative attacks”.
Under this administrations encouragement and following the democratic radical agenda of racism, so far, the “trans pride flag” and the LGBTQ pride flags have already flown at federal government buildings. Even the U.S. embassy in Kabul flew a rainbow flag for Pride Month all while Afghanistan was falling to Taliban terrorists.
According to the Associated Press, several other measures are being planned by this administration to mark “Transgender Day of Visibility”, such as U.S. passport applications are to include an “X” gender marker, with plans to expand availability of the “X” gender marker to airlines/ federal travel programs, making it easier for anyone to change their gender information in Social Security Administration records. Additionally, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is currently working on scanners that are “gender-neutral”. Further, White House visitors will soon be able to select a “X” gender marker option in the White House Worker and Visitor Entry System, used to conduct screening background checks for visitors to the executive mansion.
This administrations’ use of US Government resources to promote the Democratic Party’s radical left agenda of fearmongering, racism and outright socialism is a national tragedy. We need to applaud states that take aim at such radical agendas that erode America’s freedoms.
Who is the left to tell America’s parents what is best for their own children, how competitions should be run for those whose biological right to physically excel is challenged by the obvious the biological advantage (scientifically proven) of another gender, or promote gender isolation for the nation as a whole.
Just because an emotion exists does not make it tangible or in agreement with scientific fact. America needs to voice their opposition to this forced socialistic agenda at the polls, economically deprive businesses of that support it (such as Disney) and hold legislators accountable for this use of public funds/property to promote it.
If history has wisdom to impart, consider the inaugural address of John Stuart Mill in 1867 at the University of St. Andrew who declared: “Let not any one pacify his conscience by the delusion that he can do no harm if he takes no part, and forms no opinion. Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing. He is not a good man who, without a protest, allows wrong to be committed in his name, and with the means which he helps to supply, because he will not trouble himself to use his mind on the subject.”
