According to a subpoena obtained by Breitbart, James Comer (R-KY) House Oversight Committee Chair has subpoenaed the FBI for records alleging a criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden. Apparently the FBI-generated FD-1023 form, allegedly details an arrangement involving an exchange of policy decisions for money, between now-President Biden and a foreign national. Wednesday, following legally protected disclosures to Sen. Chuck Grassley’s (R-IA) office, Comer issued the subpoena.
An excerpt of the letter, Comer and Grassley wrote to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray stated -
“We have received legally protected and highly credible unclassified whistleblower disclosures. Based on those disclosures, it has come to our attention that the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) possess an unclassified FD-1023 form that describes an alleged criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions. It has been alleged that the document includes a precise description of how the alleged criminal scheme was employed as well as its purpose.”
“Based on the alleged specificity within the document, it would appear that the DOJ and the FBI have enough information to determine the truth and accuracy of the information contained within it. However, it remains unclear what steps, if any, were taken to investigate the matter. The significant public interest in assessing the FBI’s response to this information, as well as growing concern about the DOJ and the FBI’s track record of allowing political bias to infect their decision-making process, necessitate exacting congressional oversight.”

Elements of the Subpoena to FBI Director Christopher Wray included-
“In accordance with the attached Schedule instructions, you, Christopher Wray, are required to produce the following records in unredacted form that are in your possession, custody or control:
1.) All FD – 1023 forms, including within any open, closed, or restricted access case files, created or modified in June 2020, containing the term “Biden,” including all occupying attachments and documents to those FD – 1023 forms.”

Reportedly, components related to a potential bribery scheme involving Joe Biden and his families overseas business interests, have been present for years now. As early as 2015, Hunter’s overseas business ventures have been recognized as a potential conflict of interest for his father.
Many officials have questioned Hunter’s appointment to the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, where, though he lacked relevant expertise, he earned $80,000+ per month. This reportedly occurred all while his father, Joe Biden was Vice-President.
Joe Biden’s office, at the time, brushed aside those concerns, and the issue was never resolved. The matter was just buried and seemingly went away, though Hunter Biden also continued to connect with other foreign business associates with his father. These connections included the Chinese.
In a March article, published by Breitbart, it stated-
“The criminal statute of bribery describes giving “anything of value” to an official to “influence” him or her in performing any “official act.” The fact that the “thing of value” might have flowed to Biden’s friends and family, rather than to Biden himself, would not absolve him — and there is evidence that the senior Biden benefited from his family’s gains.”

The Constitution specifies bribery and treason as two crimes that are impeachable offenses. Comer and Grassley have their work cut out for them, if they find they can impeach Biden retroactively at this point. In any case, once these documents are received by their offices, there is sure to be more information to be unfolded. The American people deserve to know what really transpired. The truth matters.
