Clinton Associates Take The 5th to Avoid Russia Hoax Prosecution

Like rats on a sinking ship, the Clinton misinformation team is scrambling to avoid being openly incriminated by Special Counsel John H. Durham regarding the “Russia collusion” accusations made back in 2016. Stay tuned Hilary your orange jumpsuit may be in the offing.

A filing in federal court revealed last Friday in Washington, DC., no less than five associates of Hillary Clinton and her presidential campaign are invoking their Fifth Amendment rights and refusing to cooperate with Durham. The indications of this group of zipped-lipped democrats says it all. Not only do they know that they are in trouble for things they never hoped would see the light of day but they are, hoping for Durham to give up. Think again folks. Durham might be slow going, but he is persistent like the tortoise and the hare. He will keep moving forward despite the oppositions best efforts to be uncooperative.

Apparently, the revelation came to light in a motion filed by Durham to oppose the efforts of defendant Michael Sussmann and the Clinton campaign, to withhold evidence by asserting attorney-client privilege. It’s a good thing Durham is a seasoned investigator and knows how to handle this kind of stonewalling.

Sussmann has already been charged with lying to the FBI in 2016 when he informed them about a now proven fraudulent link between former candidate Donald Trump and the Russian government, via Alfa Bank. It was later discovered that Sussmann allegedly presented himself as a concerned citizen, hiding the fact that he worked for Hilary Clinton’s campaign.

In an apparent commentary of the Durham filing, legal scholar Jonathan Turley observed:

Durham was moving to grant immunity to a key witness while revealing that the claims made by the Clinton campaign were determined by the CIA as “not technically plausible” and “user created.” Durham further discussed that five of the former Clinton campaign contractors/researchers have invoked the Fifth Amendment and refused to cooperate in fear that they might incriminate themselves in criminal conduct.

Turley also noted that Durham’s filing “also detailed how the false Russian collusion claims related to Alfa Bank involved Clinton General Counsel Marc Elias (a prominent election attorney for Democrats who arranged the funding for the “dossier”), and Christopher Steele”.

As a former British spy, who worked for the opposition research firm Fusion GPS, Steele worked to produce the fraudulent Russia “dossier”, triggering the FISA court involvement and the follow-on allowance of government surveillance of the then Trump campaign, authoring the much broader “Russia collusion” conspiracy theory.

When people act dishonestly as the Clinton campaign has done, the initiation of problems created forms a domino structure/effect of complications, all of which eventually gets beyond control. This is where Hilary, her campaign staff and lawyers are headed. The ship has many leaks presently and the rats are scrambling. Keep pressing Durham - the light of day needs to reveal the deceit that has been foisted on the American citizenry.

This quote in Sir Walter Scott's epic poem, Marmion: A Tale of Flodden Field says it all: “Oh what a tangled web we weave - When first we practice to deceive”.
