As always, in the realm of irresponsible, and leading the nation in morally corrupt ways, California has been found to have released thousands of convicted pedophiles, after making them spend only a few months in prison. According to the study investigation conducted by the U.K. Daily Mail, these pedophiles have been convicted of “a range of horrific acts, including raping kids under 14” .
Convicted of “lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age”, more than 7,000 persons, have been released in the same year they were convicted. Further, those convicted for committing even more heinous crimes, such as sodomy and rape of children, also served short sentences. According the testimony of Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney Jonathan Hatami, who serves in the Complex Child Abuse Unit told the Daily Mail-
“Thousands of child victims are being denied justice and George Gascón and his group of radical prosecutors can [sic] care less,”

These shortened sentences, include some three hundred and sixty-five pedophiles that were convicted of continuous sexual abuse of a child. All of these convicted perpetrators spent fewer than 12 months in prison. Thirty-nine cases were convictions for sodomy with a child under the age of 16, while there were three cases of kidnapping a child under the age of 14 “with intent to commit lewd or lascivious acts.”
An example of the heinous and deliberate danger that the State of California is promoting, would be the circumstance of one pedophile convicted of “continuous sexual abuse of a child” who spent only two days in a county jail before being released on a five-year probation. This is according to the data from the Megan’s Law database. Further, this convicted pedophile, now lives one block from a daycare and three blocks from an elementary school, according to the Daily Mail. What is to stop him from acting out again? Nothing.
Samuel Dordulian, former Los Angeles sex crimes prosecutor, told the outlet that the statistic was-
“frightening for society,” [adding that] “statistics clearly show that pedophiles don’t get reformed. They’re going to come out and they’re going to commit again.”

Statistically, 76 percent of the 54,986 sex offenders in the database are pedophiles, according to further analysis of the data, and on average, each pedophile has served only two years and ten months in prison. Explaining that California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) is in part responsible for this lenient sentencing and treatment, as he attempts to artificially reduce the state’s prison population, Dordulian told the Daily Mail-
“That has been the push for the last at least five years: letting people out of prison much earlier than what their sentences were for,” “But these types of individuals, they’re not amenable to rehabilitation, and studies have shown that. … They’re gonna harm another child.”

According to the Daily Mail, the Department of Justice statistics show convicted sex offenders are four times more likely than other criminals to be re-arrested for a sex crime. They also noted that, persons in the database who committed heinous sex crimes received “similarly short” sentences to those convicted of crimes like indecent exposure. What for them is a short sentence, is and will continue to be, a mental life sentence for the children they have violated. This is a tragedy of epic proportion.
This policy that California, and its’ Governor, Gavin Newsom, have established is both egregious and sickening. That the people of the California do not do something about this is further disturbing, or perhaps they really are unaware of the clearly dangerous and volatile nature of their Governors policies?
One can be sure that he did not use this particular scenario in his re-election campaign recently. Winning another four years to perpetuate his obviously clandestine efforts, to cut costs in the prisons, by releasing these criminals back into the public, to find other victims is sure to ruin many a life. But then, what should he care?
Newsom spends hundreds of millions, on projects like - finding ways to pay for vacation abortions nationwide, reparations for blacks (persons of color), paying for illegal immigrants to have healthcare and housing and a whole host of more important projects. If he can pick and choose how to best bankrupt his own state, why would he worry about destroying a few more children’s’ lives by making his budget a little lighter. He gets to spend that money, that he doesn’t have to spend keeping these convicted pedophiles in prison.
As previously stated, California does it’s best to lead our nation in outright carelessness, disregard for life, use of public funds to pay for largely pandering to special interest groups and neglecting to protect the innocent in its’ population, all while it legislates its citizens lives as much as possible.
Little wonder California continues to experience a mass exodus of its’ citizenry, businesses - large and small, for other states. With these kinds of decisions, putting peoples lives at risk – who would want to live there? Soon all that Newsom will have left is illegals, criminals and the homeless. Obviously, he doesn’t care and has no shame.
“It is not a single crime when a child is photographed while sexually assaulted (raped.) It is a life time crime that should have life time punishments attached to it. If the surviving child is, more often than not, going to suffer for life for the crime(s) committed against them, shouldn't the pedophiles suffer just as long? If it often takes decades for survivors to come to terms with exactly how much damage was caused to them, why are there time limits for prosecution?”
