Black Voices For Trump Leader, Harrison Floyd, Co-Defendant In GA Election Fraud Case, Denied Bail, Remains In Jail

 August 27, 2023

After turning himself in on Thursday, Black Voices for Trump leader, Harrison Floyd, is being held at Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia. Reportedly, Floyd was denied bail and will remain in prison. The below video demonstrates the poor “introductory hearing” that he was subject to.

According to the Fulton County Sheriff, Floyd was booked into the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday, August 24, 2023. He is charged with alleged violation of the Georgia RICO Act, conspiracy to commit solicitation of false statements and writings, and influencing witnesses.

Floyd is the only individual, among the 19 co-defendants, not to strike a bond agreement ahead of surrendering to authorities. Additionally, saying that legal counsel was too expensive, he represented himself in court.

At his “introductory hearing” before Judge Emily Richardson, Floyd was deemed by her to be a flight risk. He did try to plead his case to her, stating that he was not a flight risk, but was largely ignored by the judge.

Apparently, an open federal charge against Floyd by the FBI, that had not been removed from the court record (though the matter had been resolved), which he tried to explain, was enough for Richardson to pass the buck to the presiding judge at Floyd’s next hearing.

Judge Richardson reportedly said to Floyd-

"I do find that based on the open charge against you there are grounds for bond to be denied at this point," …"So I’m going to go ahead and find that you are at risk to commit additional felonies and a potential risk to flee the jurisdiction."

-Judge Emily Richardson

Floyd is the only co-defendant in the Georgia election fraud case facing former President Donald Trump, that is being held without bail. He is being held without bond because Judge Richardson, as recorded in the video above, was only “filling in” for his hearing and can be seen and heard as having no interest in really hearing or helping Floyd see a reasonable release.

As this trial plays out, hopefully the truth will yet see the light of day. Time will tell.
