On Saturday, in his address at the commencement ceremony at Howard University in D.C., a historically black school, President Biden told the crowd that, "White supremacy" is the "most dangerous terrorist threat" the United States faces. Biden reportedly said-
"The harsh reality of racism has long torn us apart," …"It’s a battle. It’s never really over, but on the best days, enough of us have the guts and the hearts to stand up for the best in us, to choose love over hate.” "Union over disunion. Progress over retreat. To stand up against the poison of White supremacy like I did in my inaugural address to single it out as the most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland." adding… "I'm not saying this because I'm at a Black HBCU. I say it wherever I go."

News Nation reported that in his speech-
"Biden said he had hoped when he graduated from school that hate could be permanently defeated, but he has learned that stopping it requires people to not remain silent during the “battle for the soul of the nation,” a statement he often made while running for president in 2020.
He referenced the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017 that saw many white supremacists and neo-Nazis gather to advocate racist and anti-Semitic views. After a group of counter-protesters came together to oppose the rally, a man plowed his vehicle into them, killing one woman and injuring multiple others. “

On Saturday, at this same event, Biden received an honorary degree from the university for what the school described as-
- "much deserved for his years of transformational service as U.S. Senator, Vice President, and now as President of the United States."

Sounding more like a campaign speech for his 2024 re-election bid, Biden appealed to those graduating, to rally with him to “fight for the soul” of America. He praised the many black graduates for being the future of America, challenging them to put the “strength of our diversity” to work as they move forward in their lives.
Biden’s speech, was purportedly more like “battle cry”, intended to galvanize the graduates present into action on behalf of his bid to stay in the While House. Politico reported-
“Invoking the battle cry he used to galvanize voters in the 2020 election cycle, he called on his audience to “fight for the soul of the nation.”
“Fearless progress toward justice often means ferocious pushback from the oldest and most sinister of forces,” Biden said. “That’s because hate never goes away. … It only hides under the rocks. And when it’s given oxygen it comes out from under that rock. And that’s why we know this truth as well: silence is complicity. We cannot remain silent.”
Biden continued by telling the soon-to-be-grads that they represented the future of America — a future with the opportunity to put the “strength of our diversity at the center of American life,” and one that “celebrates and learns from history.”
Still, in an apparent reference to former President Donald Trump, Biden acknowledged that the path toward that future is by no means easy.
“Let’s be clear: There are those who don’t see you. Who don’t want this future,” Biden said. “There are those who demonize and pit people against one another. There are those who would do anything and everything, no matter how desperate or immoral, to hold onto power.”

On social media, his speech was quickly criticized, mostly by conservatives who questioned the priorities of his administration. Reportedly, some examples were-
All this was occurring while the southern border continues to be invaded by an onslaught of illegal migrants that Biden has essentially welcomed into the interior of this country, our Armed services and first responders face challenges of dwindling numbers, the national debt continues to rise while the debt ceiling talks are heading towards reaching critical mass, the U.S. economy is in jeopardy, free speech is challenged, American families continue to struggle to live under Biden’s’ oppressive and often neglectful leadership, and the list goes on… This nation is under siege from within.
Biden’s speech does not focus on the reality of what his policies have done to the “soul” of America that he is calling these students to fight for. Literally, his policies, legislated by presidential edicts - have rocked the foundations of this country in 2 short years. This nation is headed for a train-wreck if the real heart of this nation does not stand up to counter this reverse racism and the out-working of Biden’s’ leftist progressive, socialist beliefs.
