In his first in-person appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", during his Los Angeles visit to attend the Summit of the Americas, President Joe Biden joked that he wants to send Republicans to “jail” for refusing to support gun control and other tenets of his agenda. In the interview with left-wing host Jimmy Kimmel, the president expressed his frustration that “Republicans don’t play it square,” blocking his proposals for gun control, likening the whole issue to a game. Kimmel mused-
“It’s like you’re playing Monopoly with somebody who won’t pass ‘Go’ or won’t follow any of the rules, and how do you ever make any progress if they’re not following the rules?”

To which Biden jokingly replied-
“You’ve got to send them to jail,”

Expressing his frustration, Kimmel complained, that Democrats have control of the House, the Senate, and the White House but have made very little progress on issues such as guns, abortion, and climate change, adding-

In his reply, Biden expressed the need to respect the democratic process, and criticized former President Donald Trump for his-
“abuse of the Constitution”…continuing “If we do the same thing they do, our democracy will literally be in jeopardy. Not a joke,”

Biden then blamed the “far right”, whom he said Republicans were terrified of in acting on gun control. He stated-
“This is not your father’s Republican Party, this is a MAGA party, this is a very different Republican Party,”

In the interview Biden seemed giddy at being asked to spend time with Kimmel, who has been a long time Democratic Party ally. In the past Kimmel has helped host fundraisers, which helped the Democrats win back this last majority in the U.S. House. Both seemed to feed off of each-others remarks, achieving a comfortable arena for Biden to express his tact, that if he were to deal with Republicans like it were a game of Monopoly he would send them to jail – obviously, do not pass go, do not collect $200.
Kimmel’s attention to the lack of gains made is positive evidence that the Democratic party is losing their grip on dismantling the United States of America as the founders established it. Biden and Kimmel agreed that, they seemingly have it all, but those conservative right wing MAGA / Trumpers, who continue to draw a line in the stand and face them down, are getting in their way. Great News!
As conservatives, this is a peek at the inner frustration level of the opposition. America needs to stay the course, not shrink back and continue to pursue the truth in what the Democratic party is attempting to do with this nation. We must be vigilant – the nation we love is at stake.
