On Tuesday’s White House signing of the Respect for Marriage Act, President Joe Biden said that Republican bans on transgender surgeries were transphobic and connected to anti-Semitism. Speaking about laws passed by Republican states, to make irreversible gender transitioning procedures for children illegal, Biden argued they were transphobic and inspired by hate. In a sweeping declaration he declared-
“We need to challenge the hundreds of callous and cynical laws introduced in the states targeting transgender children, terrifying families, and criminalizing doctors who give children the care they need,” adding “Folks, racism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia — they’re all connected,”

Biden argued, that Repealing Republican laws, banning gender transitioning treatments for children, is part of the government’s role to “protect children.” Further, he warned that Republicans posed a threat to communities that were trying to be more inclusive by fighting to protect children from transgender activists.
“We have to protect these children so they know they are loved and that we will stand up for them and so they can seek for themselves,”… “When hospitals, libraries, and community centers are threatened and intimidated because they support LGBTQ children and families, we have to speak out,”…[of the marriage act he added] “This law, and the love it defends, strike a blow against hate in all its forms,” …concluding… “And that’s why this law matters to every single American, no matter who you are or who you love.”

Previously describing Republicans, as “immoral” for passing laws to block transgender procedures for children, Biden had said during a forum with a transgender TikTok star in October-
“I don’t think any state or anybody should have the right to do that, as a moral question or a legal question I just think it’s wrong, ”…adding “It’s outrageous and I think it’s immoral,”…clarifying… “The trans part is not immoral but what they are trying to do to trans persons is immoral.”

Biden’s’ comments are in truly, leftist – progressive fashion - unusually broad sweeping in their application, filled with generalist fearmongering statements, that establish emotionalism but avoid the facts of the matter. Designed to promote, an established belief, that facts are based on feelings and emotion (how one feels) rather than studies and statistics – they keep people captured in the need for a saving entity (i.e. the Democratic party) to protect the nation and right the “outrageous and immoral” ethics of the Republican party.
This is why laws are a limiting bother to them, unless they unleash any previous rules, capture the emotional focus of their party platform, or can be re-written somehow. It is also why the U.S. Constitution stands in the way of their progressive concepts of America, as they want to imagine it, and hinders them from expressing the full force of all they would do if they could. Thank God for the Founders insights and vision for America, as our moral compass is broken and it is keeping us as a nation intact for the present.
