Demanding that Ukraine is armed, in order to allow the Russian-occupied city of Mariupol, to host a Pride parade, protesters at an LGBTQ event in Berlin show their ignorance of war itself.
Arming Ukraine may or may not enable the country’s rulers to liberate the port city of Mariupol and host a Pride Parade there. That is really the wrong focus and huge long shot.
That their focus is not on the freedom for those in Mariupol to simply live free - demonstrates that these protesters don’t really understand the horror of war. Those in Mariupol need much more than a “pride parade”, they need freedom from the Russian occupation of their land. They need their freedoms restored – all of them.
On Saturday, Pro-LGBTQIA2S demonstrators attended the Berlin-based event, one of many Christopher Street Day demonstrations across Europe, with the pan-European celebration occurring annually in memory of the Stonewall Riots. This year’s motto of the parade for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer people was-
“United in Love! Against hate, war and discrimination.”

Police reportedly said, around 350,000 individuals took part in the protest, which this year was said to center around the theme of-
“strong signal for diversity, freedom and respect and against hate, war and discrimination”.

Demanding Ukraine be sent more weapons, some protesters at the event in the German capital, sent a “strong signal” against war that included, waving Ukrainian flags, wearing Ukrainian colors and holding signs demanding that arms be delivered to the country, in order to allow Mariupol to host a Pride parade. Some signs read-
“ARM UKRAINE,” the banner — which was written in English — read, adding: “MAKE PRIDE IN MARIUPOL POSSIBLE.”

What was made very clear on Saturday, was the fact that the German political class, is in lockstep with the demands of LGBTQIA2S activists taking part in the day’s events. As an example, the rainbow flag of the LGBT community was reportedly flown from the Bundestag, Germany’s federal parliament, for the first time on the day of the march.
Additionally, opting to display the banner, on federal buildings, with the country’s interior ministry, run by the allegedly Antifa-linked politician Nancy Faeser, the defense ministry opted to fly the flag, as did the Reichstag building.
Demanding that all citizens of Germany “resolutely oppose” what she described as “hate and exclusion”, the leftist Berlin mayor Franziska Giffey, declared that her city “is and will remain the rainbow capital”.
It seems unclear, however, whether the city, or indeed Germany as a whole, will remain under the control of Giffey and Faeser’s leftist Social Democratic Party (SPD). This could seriously affect whether or not the German capital is or will remain the “rainbow capital”. It remains to be seen.
The SPD has now seen its popularity plummet nationwide to 18 per cent, because as the ruling party, it has so far botched the handling of the country’s gas, inflation, and immigration crises. This is compared to 26 per cent of the vote share during last year’s election, which resulted in the party taking power, alongside the far-left Greens and liberal Free Democrats.
The centrist Christian Democratic Union (CDU), formerly led by Angela Merkel, and right-wing populist Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) have both gained favor with the public, with the former polling at 27 per cent and the latter at 12 per cent. It looks like the German people are waking up.
Sound too familiar America? It certainly should. The fringe, leftists are whining, while those in charge botch things up for their nation as a whole, reducing the German people, to struggling with their own economic and immigration crisis. It seems like a truly political epidemic. America is not the only country struggling with the progressive, left extremists. Sadly, they are running Germany into the ground as well.
However, it would seem that the German people are turning to a more common-sense approach and outlook, to hopefully, in their next election, turn things around for the majority of the German people. Also sound familiar?
The policies of the socialist left DO NOT WORK, they rob the common man of his freedom, economic independence and rights. Germany is just one more example of the oppressive nature of radical left democratic thinking. They are like locusts, destroying all in their path – just ask anyone who has escaped a communist regime.
