Reportedly on Monday, Former President Trump said that Democrats and former FBI Director James Comey need to be held accountable for spending years, investigating alleged collusion between Trump and Russia. This is because now Special Counsel John Durham, has released a report saying that the Trump-Russia probe never should have been launched. Durham's investigation revealed that when the Department of Justice and FBI launched the Trump-Russia investigation, they "failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law". Effectively they wrote their own rules.
According to Fox News, Trump said-
"I, and much more importantly, then American public have been victims of this long-running and treasonous charade started by the Democrats — started by Comey,"…adding… "There must be a heavy price to pay for putting our country through this."

Trump told the outlet, that the activities surrounding the FBI's original Trump-Russia investigation were-
"a total disgrace," saying "public anger over this report is at a level that I have not seen before."…and…"This report took a long time because John Durham is a very thorough investigator,"…"But the result is unequivocal and an absolute disaster in terms of justice." …adding… "the national security implications of what they did are very grave." …"It turned out to be a giant and very dangerous hoax," [adding that he would have] "further comment in the near future."

Special Counsel John Durham, released his final report on the Trump-Russia probe, on Monday, after his years of investigation into the origins of the FBI’s original investigation, known as "Crossfire Hurricane." His investigation researched into whether the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election. The report is said to span more than 300 pages. It stated clearly-
"Based on the review of Crossfire Hurricane and related intelligence activities, we conclude that the Department and the FBI failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law in connection with certain events and activities described in this report,"

Durham also stated that his investigation also found that-
"Senior FBI personnel displayed a serious lack of analytical rigor towards the information that they received, especially information received from politically-affiliated persons and entities." …adding…" This information in part triggered and sustained Crossfire Hurricane and contributed to the subsequent need for Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation," …adding from the report… "In particular, there was significant reliance on investigative leads provided or funded (directly or indirectly) by Trump's political opponents."

Durham’s report, referring to past FBI leadership, specifically former FBI Director James Comey and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, also states -
"The Department did not adequately examine or question these materials and the motivations of those providing them, even when at about the same time the Director the FBI and others learned of significant and potentially contrary intelligence,"

Fundamentally however, Durham's report-
"does not recommend any wholesale changes in the guidelines and policies that the Department and the FBI now have in place to ensure proper conduct and accountability in how counterintelligence activities are carried out."

It would seem that the laws on the books appear solid at present, and Durham recommends no changes as a result. Those in leadership, however, at the top of the FBI were corrupt in their disregard for the laws in place, even at the time, of which they were well aware. These were not “missteps” as the FBI has labeled them, as if they somehow did not know better. Their actions were deliberately deceitful and manipulative.
Their deliberate choice was to clearly disregarding the truth and maintain deceit. This was demonstrated in their FISA court applications to surveil Trump multiple time, while not even pressing the Clinton Foundation in their investigation of Clinton’s private server violations. There existed and still does a highly political form of the applied rule of law, that remains engaged as a shocking double standard, as evidenced today by the FBI’s protections of Joe Biden in many forms.
The FBI needs defunded and rebuilt because of the corruption of those in charge. Even though there are many solidly honest hardworking and dedicated persons at the FBI who might be temporarily affected – the head of the snake has to be cut off and defunding is congresses only knife at this point.
In their plaintive, excuse filled, defense of these now documented actions, in Durham’s’ report, the FBI reportedly said-
"The conduct in 2016 and 2017 that Special Counsel Durham examined was the reason that current FBI leadership already implemented dozens of corrective actions, which have now been in place for some time. Had those reforms been in place in 2016, the missteps identified in the report could have been prevented," … "This report reinforces the importance of ensuring the FBI continues to do its work with the rigor, objectivity, and professionalism the American people deserve and rightly expect."

In medicine, in order to heal and be able to recover – the disease, threat, or pathogen needs cut out and or removed. Cancer treated with a bandaide kills, as does an object left impaled in the body – it threatens system death, which threatens organism death. Action is needed to preserve the life of our federalist republic. Our constitution is clearly at risk.
Congress needs to see the FBI management at the uppermost and mid-management levels, as a clear threat to this country and it’s ability to function without partiality. If the police are corrupt – they cannot be depended on. It’s as simple as that. America appreciates the truth of Durham’s report - but action now needs to be taken as a result and Congress needs to step up and wield it’s budgetary sword!
