Hunter Biden blames Trump's triumph in 2024 on disloyal Democrats who betrayed Joe Biden

Well, folks, if you thought the Democratic Party’s latest stumble was just a misstep, Hunter Biden has a bombshell theory that might make you raise an eyebrow.

Breitbart reported that in a revealing podcast interview, Hunter, son of President Joe Biden, pointed fingers at his own party’s disloyalty as the root cause of their crushing loss to President Donald Trump, while former President Barack Obama piled on with sharp criticism of the party’s lack of grit.

Hunter’s candid remarks came during a chat with former DNC Chair Jaime Harrison on the podcast “At Our Table,” set to debut on a Thursday soon.

He didn’t mince words, arguing that the Democrats squandered the edge of incumbency and the achievements of the Biden administration. It’s a bold claim, but one wonders if internal bickering outweighs a unified conservative wave.

Hunter’s Harsh Words for Democrats

“We lost the election because we did not remain loyal to the leader of the party,” Hunter declared in the interview. That’s a stinging accusation, especially when loyalty is supposed to be the glue of any political machine.

But let’s be honest—when a party “literally melted down,” as Hunter put it, is loyalty the only missing piece, or did policy disconnects with everyday Americans play a bigger role?

Hunter also warned of future infighting, predicting a messy battle over the next nominee. “We are going to fight amongst ourselves for the next three years until there’s a nominee,” he said. If that’s the game plan, conservatives might just sit back with popcorn while the left implodes.

He doubled down, urging unity once a nominee emerges, saying, “With the nominee, we better as hell get behind that nominee.” Fair enough, but after such a public airing of grievances, can the Democrats stitch together enough cohesion to challenge a resurgent right? That’s the million-dollar question.

Not to be outdone, former President Barack Obama threw his punches at a private fundraiser in New Jersey on a recent Friday, with his comments scooped up by CNN. He accused the Democratic Party of being weak and ineffectual against Trump’s string of victories. It’s a rare moment of bluntness from Obama, but perhaps a needed reality check for a party adrift.

“I think it’s going to require a little bit less navel-gazing and a little less whining,” Obama stated, clearly frustrated with the party’s post-loss sulking.

If even a figure like Obama is calling for Democrats to “toughen up,” it’s hard not to see this as an admission that the progressive agenda might be out of touch with the heartland’s priorities.

Obama didn’t stop there, pushing for action over despair. “Now is exactly the time that you get in there and do something,” he urged. Yet, while his call to arms sounds noble, one has to ask if the party’s base is more interested in hashtags than hard work.

Courage as the Missing Ingredient

Delving deeper, Obama emphasized the need for backbone in tough times. “Don’t say that you care deeply about free speech and then you’re quiet,” he challenged.

It’s a pointed jab at the left’s selective outrage, often loud on social media but silent when principles clash with convenience.

He pressed further, saying, “You stand up for free speech when it’s hard.” That’s a principle conservatives have long championed, especially when progressive policies seem to prioritize feelings over open debate. Maybe Obama’s onto something here, even if his party often misses the mark.

Obama wrapped his critique with a broader plea: “What’s needed now is courage.” It’s a lofty ideal, but courage against what—Trump’s momentum or their ideological echo chamber? That’s the puzzle Democrats must solve if they hope to rebound.

Stepping back, Hunter Biden’s focus on disloyalty as the Democrats’ Achilles’ heel raises eyebrows. Sure, party unity matters, but when voters are fed up with overreaching mandates and cultural overcorrections, no amount of loyalty can paper over those cracks. The right’s focus on practical policies might just be a tougher opponent than internal squabbles.

Meanwhile, Obama’s frustration with a “weak and ineffectual” party mirrors what many on the conservative side have observed for years.

The Democrats’ obsession with progressive talking points often overshadows the kitchen-table issues that win elections. If they don’t pivot, Trump’s triumphs could become a permanent fixture.
