Chicago’s Mayor, Lori Lightfoot (D) is applying for the job of worst, left-wing, radical of the bunch. In fact, she is not happy it seems, unless Chicago is falling down around her, people are dying and she has some LGBTQI+ rant going on.
Under her watchful eye, from Friday through Monday, at least 54 people were shot, seven of them fatally. It makes you want to hop a flight, rent a car and get right to a Cubs game doesn’t it? With someone shot every very few moments, it’s just the safest place to visit, and share a good time with friends. Right?... Not really.
Like other democratically run cities, say like San Francisco, run by London Breed (D), America may to want to just spend time away from home, there taking in the sights and enjoying the locals.
However, contending for the top spot, Mayor Lightfoot doesn’t just sport, a homeless population with drugs and fecal attractions, she offers the amenity of being shot to death. That puts her likely, in first place. What are the voters of Chicago thinking?
Apparently, the ‘windy city” enjoys her ridiculous, vastly neglectful, progressive oversight. Evidently so, as data compiled by the Sun-Times shows 320 people were killed in Chicago January 1, 2022, through July 3, 2022. It will be interesting to see what the death toll will be at the end of 2022 to be able to compare it to 2021. America stay tuned.
Likely however, Chicago will not be the first choice of many, hoping to find a fun family place, to spend their time away from home this summer. Unfortunately, Chicago’s populous has no choice. They live there.
