On Friday, Democrats passed the deceptive “Inflation Reduction Act”. It should be aptly named the, INCOME REDUCTION ACT, because it does not truly reduce inflation, and instead spends hundreds of billions of dollars, on climate change and Obamacare programs. Passed literally along party lines, 220-207, with no Democrats voting against the bill and no Republicans voting for the bill, it now goes to Biden’s desk for a signature.
Republicans could not stop Democrats from passing the bill, since the legislation uses budgetary reconciliation, however, one senior House Republican staffer explained that they plan on making Democrats “own” this bill, which includes highlighting its significantly negative effects.
This legislation effectively spends billions and taxes America, to pay for this glorified Dem wish-list. The Bill:
The truth is that this bill will reduce America’s income, tax it’s citizens to the wall and send the now bloated IRS (with deadly force) to make sure of compliance. Yes, this bill is the hallmark of Biden, his administration and the Democratic progressive, far-left party. Fraught with budgetary contrivances and fake offsets, the true cost of this bill
will be felt by Americans long before it can even be sorted out.
Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), House Republican spoke, just under an hour ahead of the vote, lashing into Democrats, some of whom apparently failed to show up in person to vote for their own billion bill. Following McCarthy, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) discussed the many reasons why she believes that this bill will benefit the country. Interestingly, Pelosi has stopped referring to the bill as the Inflation Reduction Act, as Senate Republicans were able to strip the name from the bill – revealing that the bill does not have a major budgetary impact, but rather simply spends on government programs and taxes the American people.
They (the Dems) know full well what they are doing and really don’t care – most are wealthy, have a battery of lawyers to save their own funds and just want working Americans to subsidize their “look good at home wish-list” to keep getting elected and stay in power. It is disgusting, how easily the Democrats sell programs to each other for legislation that costs someone else, not them.
Further it’s ironic, that Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), who wanted the bill to focus on reducing inflation and struke the deal that led to this bill, with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), because this bill in no way realistically, reduces inflation. He did however get some fossil fuel help, in there somewhere, for his own state though.
On Friday, both the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and an updated Penn Budget Model analysis found that the bill would only reduce inflation by 0.1 percent over five years, yet it harms many working-class Americans.
Specific language in the bill that that was removed had stated-
“nothing in this subsection is intended to increase taxes on any taxpayer with a taxable income below $400,000″
This was the previous lure that Biden and congressional Democrats repeatedly claimed, in that, the bill would not raise taxes on Americans making less than $400,000 per year. However, Senate Democrats voted down an amendment by Sen. Mike Crapo (R-ID) that would have banned new IRS funds from being used to target working-class Americans. So the lie, now stand on its own merits.
Attempting to fulfill Democrats’ promise, Janet Yellen, Treasury Secretary, in a letter to the IRS commissioner, seeking some sort of leniency, on behalf of the agency - to not to raise taxes on those making less than $400,000 per year, said-
“Specifically, I direct that any additional resources … shall not be used to increase the share of small business or households below the $400,000 threshold that are audited relative to historical levels,”

In part, this bill was passed, on the heels of the passage of the bipartisan semiconductor bill, or the $280 billion Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) Act. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) had promised to block the CHIPS bill if Democrats were to advance a reconciliation bill.
So, after Republicans helped to pass the CHIPS bill, believing that there was no reconciliation bill afoot, their leverage was gone. Several Republicans admitted that the Senate GOP got bested by Democrats, stating-
“We got our ass kicked. It’s just that simple. Looks to me like we got rinky-doo’d. That’s a Louisiana word for ‘screwed.’ And we got our ass kicked. That’s the way my people back home see it,”

“Yesterday’s announcement by Joe Manchin and Chuck Schumer showed again, that too many Senate Republicans unfortunately trusted Democrats and got duped. Some are pretending to be shocked. It’s not shocking at all.”

So, the midst of a recession, this controlling Democratic legislative party has sent a CLEAR MESSAGE to the American People:
…We (those in authority) don’t care that you are struggling – just hand over your wallet, do it quickly or face the consequences. We want to bankrupt you, and change your ideals that include God, Family, and Constitutional Freedoms, as they are of no consequence to us. Further, we will stop at nothing to get what we want – a Socialist America.
This is where Government replaces God, the Village replaces Family and the Collective, needs your resources to pay for the survival of all we allow to walk over our borders.
At the top, We (those in authority) are financially secure, know best how to spend your money and have no need for your input. America needs to just get in-line with our program. Oh, by the way, enjoy the process and don’t complain – or our media-controlled outlets will assist us, in finding you and prosecuting you as a racist…
America had better step up to the plate to stem this tide, or we will all be answering to “Comrade Biden” and his ilk, sooner than later.
