Pro-Abortion Rioters Attempt To Storm Arizona Capitol While In Session

While the state’s senate was in session, Pro-abortion rioters attempted to storm the Arizona capitol building in Phoenix.  A product of opposition of the outcome of the overturning of Roe V Wade – the protestors were aggressively seeking access to the senate building.

Inside the senate building, Pro-life Republican state Senator Kelly Townsend, tweeted that  members of the Senate were:

“being held hostage inside the Senate building.” added the senators could “smell teargas and the children of one of the members are in the office sobbing with fear.” Also adding “I expect a J24 committee to be created immediately,”

While displacing blame from the protestors, some Arizona state Democrats were discussing the fact that these persons were trying to enter the capitol by breaking through security. One Democrat was overheard to explain that the building is public and they weren’t permitted in.

Also, with her colleagues conservative Senator, Wendy Rogers, said for safety reasons, the senators left the senate chamber, and were-

“assembled to take the tunnel to the House.”

As the crowd was dispersed, the senators were able to return to the Senate.

Without concluding its business, the senate went into recess. At that point the Arizona Department of Public Safety, announced that tear gas, in fact had to be used to disperse the protestors, who then moved on to vandalize monuments at Wesley Bolin Plaza.

“Troopers deployed gas outside the Senate building after protesters attempted to break the glass,” the Arizona Department of Public Safety stated. “The crowd then moved to the Wesley Bolin Plaza where some monuments were vandalized. Gas was deployed again to disburse the crowd.”

Among many protests throughout the nation, after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade Friday, this riot outside the Arizona capitol building, is representative of the heated opposition to this landmark ruling. Others protests occurred in Seattle, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, Tucson, New York City, Reno, and Dallas.

In the days ahead, the Pro-choice movement will be active in pressing its antagonistic response to this ruling and its’ effects on the abortion industry nationwide. America needs to stay vigilant and not expect the Democratic party, the so called “party of peace”, to be anything but supportive, if not instigative of these radicals, who now seek to terrorize America’s pro-life organizations.

These family focused pregnancy centers will continue to help those who seek to have their babies in whatever way possible. As a result, they will continue to be targeted for their position on saving lives. Now more than ever, they will need defended.

Standing in the gap for them, and the lives they represent should be America’s priority. Hopefully, law enforcement remains on the ready, to defend and protect those, who for so long have stood in the gap for the smallest of America’s citizenry – whose voice has now been given a voice.

"He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless."
